BaraLink

Terms of use

Last updated: 18 October 2026

Welcome to BaraLink. By creating an account or using the BaraLink mobile app or website, you agree to these terms of use.

1. Role of BaraLink

BaraLink is a marketplace that connects clients (individuals and businesses) with local workers in Guinea. BaraLink provides identity checks, secure mobile-money escrow, ratings and dispute resolution, but is not the employer of workers and is not a party to the service agreement between the client and the worker.

2. Accounts and verification

You must provide accurate information and verify your phone number by SMS before posting or applying for a job. You are responsible for keeping your PIN or password confidential and for all activity on your account.

Workers submit a Guinean identity document reviewed by our team before receiving the verified badge. Business accounts require a company registration number (RCCM) and admin approval before publishing jobs.

3. Escrow payments, fees and payouts

Before posting a job, a client saves a mobile-money account. When a worker is assigned and accepts, the client pays the agreed amount in Guinean francs (GNF) via mobile money (Orange Money or MTN MoMo, processed by LengoPay) before work starts. BaraLink never stores banking or mobile-money secret codes.

BaraLink holds the funds in escrow while the work is performed. Once the worker marks the job done and the client confirms completion (or after the confirmation window expires without a dispute), BaraLink releases the payout to the worker’s verified mobile-money account, minus the applicable platform commission.

4. Assignments, cancellations and disputes

An assigned worker must confirm the assignment within the deadline shown in the app. If a worker can no longer perform an accepted job, they must release the assignment in the app so the client can select another worker.

If there is a problem with the work or a disagreement, either party may open a dispute in the app before completion is confirmed. Opening a dispute freezes the held payment until BaraLink’s team reviews the evidence and resolves the outcome (release to worker, refund to client, or split).

5. Acceptable conduct and safety

Users must treat each other with respect. Harassment, fraud, fake accounts, off-platform fee evasion, unsafe behaviour or abuse of the rating or dispute system will result in restrictions or immediate suspension of the account.

6. Liability and governing law

Workers are independent providers responsible for the quality and safety of their work. To the extent permitted by Guinean law, BaraLink’s liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the platform fees collected for that job. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guinea.
