Delete your BaraLink account

You can delete your BaraLink account at any time directly in the mobile app, or by asking our support team if you no longer have access to the app.
Option 1 — Delete directly in the app (instant)
- 1Open the BaraLink app and sign in to your account.
- 2Go to your Profile tab and tap Settings (Paramètres).
- 3Scroll to the Account section at the bottom and tap "Delete account" (Supprimer le compte), then confirm.
Option 2 — Request deletion without the app
If you uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, send us a deletion request using our contact form or by calling us from the phone number linked to your account. We will verify ownership of the account and process the deletion.
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted immediately
- Your personal details (name, phone number, email address, PIN/password) are scrubbed and anonymised.
- Your profile photo, uploaded media, worker portfolio, availability windows and saved location snapshot are removed.
- Your active sessions are closed and your profile no longer appears in search.
Kept for legal and accounting records
- Completed job records, payment ledger entries, escrow/payout receipts and dispute history are retained without your personal contact details, as required by law for financial bookkeeping and audit trails.
- If you consented to usage statistics (Google Analytics / Firebase), you can also ask our support team to delete the analytics record linked to your random analytics ID.
